Garmin 255w Price
The Garmin 255W price has come down significantly, as all consumer electronics products do over time. When the 255W was first released by Garmin in the spring of 2008 its manufacturer’s suggested retail price was around $350. Since then the price has dropped considerably making it one of the most affordable quality wide-screen personal GPS devices on the market.
How low will the Garmin 255W price go? Obviously that’s an impossible question to answer right now. What typically seems to happen, at least with previous Garmin Nuvi GPS units, is that the price makes its initial drop in the first year after release and then flattens out. The price may continue to drop some for a while, but not nearly as steeply as in the first year. Eventually the manufacturer will discontinue the model at which time clearance sales will be made available by all the retailers. I wouldn’t expect to see the Garmin 255W price to be making any significant plunges in the immediate future as it is still one of the more popular selling products in the Nuvi lineup and therefore is unlikely to be discontinued by Garmin any time soon..
